Organization Development

Introduction / Program Objective:
Organization Development has undergone a sea change as the subject has grown in significance all over the world. It is not only a field of study but also a distinct profession, an organizational function, a business improvement strategy and a people development initiative, with an extremely rich body of knowledge.

A lot of HR Functionaries are still unclear about what OD is all about. Organization wide Initiatives that can overhaul the complete functioning of the organization, in turn improving the Organization Effectiveness would fall under the ambit of OD. OD practices also include application of knowledge garnered from Behavioural science / Research to Organizational systems for interventions in Strategy / Structure / Systems / Style / Staff / Skills / Shared Values for overall effectiveness.
